By accessing or using the Website, submitting an inquiry, creating an account, subscribing to communications, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

The Scholars’ Treasure is an educational, publishing, storytelling, and collecting platform dedicated to the work of author, entrepreneur, and collector Russ Rosenzweig; The Scholars’ Treasure book series; Collection Essays; entrepreneurship and historical content; collectible writing instruments; and related educational resources.
The Website may also provide opportunities to purchase books and other products and to submit private acquisition inquiries regarding select items from The Scholars’ Treasure Collection.
2. Educational and Informational Content
Articles, Collection Essays, historical information, commentary, descriptions, photographs, videos, and other materials published on the Website are provided for general educational and informational purposes.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information, historical, biographical, collectible, valuation, market, and other information may contain errors, omissions, interpretations, or information that changes over time. We do not warrant that all Website content is complete, current, or error-free.
Nothing published on the Website should be interpreted as professional legal, financial, investment, appraisal, authentication, tax, or other professional advice. Statements concerning rarity, collectibility, historical significance, or similar characteristics are provided for informational and descriptive purposes and should not be interpreted as guarantees of present or future monetary value.
3. Online Store and Product Purchases
The Website may offer books, publications, merchandise, and other products for purchase through our online store. Products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, refuse or cancel orders, or correct errors in product descriptions or pricing, subject to applicable law.
Prices displayed on the Website are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees will be presented when required during the checkout process.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of that order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order when reasonably necessary, including because of product availability, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, payment issues, inventory discrepancies, or other errors, subject to applicable law.
4. Private Collection and Acquisition Inquiries
Certain collectible writing instruments or other objects displayed as part of The Scholars’ Treasure Collection may be identified as available for private acquisition or inquiry.
Submitting a “Begin Acquisition Inquiry,” “Submit Acquisition Inquiry,” request for quote, or similar form does not constitute a purchase, sale, reservation, option, contract, or guarantee of availability and does not obligate either you or The Scholars’ Treasure to complete a transaction.
Acquisition inquiries are reviewed individually. The Scholars’ Treasure reserves the right, in its discretion and subject to applicable law, to determine whether an item remains available and whether to proceed with a potential transaction.
Any final acquisition involving a collectible item may be subject to additional written terms provided before completion of the transaction, including agreed pricing, payment arrangements, condition disclosures, inspection opportunities, shipping or delivery requirements, insurance, taxes, return or cancellation terms, and other transaction-specific provisions.
If transaction-specific written terms conflict with these general Terms with respect to a particular private acquisition, the transaction-specific terms will control to the extent of that conflict.
5. Collectible Descriptions, Condition, and Photography
The Scholars’ Treasure makes reasonable efforts to accurately describe collectible writing instruments and other collection items, including their edition, characteristics, condition, packaging, documentation, provenance information when available, and other relevant details.
Because collectible objects may be previously owned, vintage, limited-production, handcrafted, or otherwise unique, they may exhibit variations, signs of age, storage, handling, manufacturing differences, patina, or other characteristics consistent with their history.
Photographs are intended to represent items as accurately as reasonably possible. However, colors, finishes, dimensions, textures, materials, and other visual characteristics may appear differently depending on photography, lighting, display settings, or device characteristics.
Prospective acquirers are encouraged to carefully review all available descriptions and photographs and to request any additional information, documentation, photographs, or clarification they consider important before completing a private acquisition.
6. Authenticity, Attribution, and Provenance
Descriptions concerning the manufacturer, edition, historical subject, provenance, production details, authenticity, or other characteristics of collectible items are based on information reasonably available to The Scholars’ Treasure at the time of publication, which may include manufacturer information, accompanying documentation, reference materials, prior ownership information, or other sources.
Unless expressly stated in writing as part of a particular transaction, Website content should not be interpreted as an independent professional authentication, appraisal, certification, or guarantee of provenance.
Prospective acquirers who require independent authentication, appraisal, valuation, or verification are encouraged to obtain such services before completing an acquisition.
7. Availability of Collectible Items
Many collectible items displayed through The Scholars’ Treasure Collection are unique or available in quantities of one. Display of an item on the Website does not guarantee that the item remains available.
An item may become reserved, withdrawn, sold, or otherwise unavailable while an inquiry is pending. Unless expressly confirmed in writing as part of a completed transaction or reservation arrangement, The Scholars’ Treasure does not guarantee or reserve availability based solely upon submission of an inquiry.
The Scholars’ Treasure may also display items from the private collection that are not currently offered for acquisition. Inclusion of an item on the Website should not, by itself, be interpreted as an offer to sell that item.
8. Pricing and Errors
We attempt to ensure that product information, pricing, availability, and other Website information are accurate. However, typographical, technical, pricing, inventory, photographic, or other errors may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel or decline a transaction affected by an error, subject to applicable law.
Prices or values discussed in educational articles, Collection Essays, historical materials, or other non-product content should not be interpreted as current offers to sell, appraisals, or representations of current market value.
9. Payments and Transaction Verification
Online payments may be processed through WooCommerce and one or more third-party payment processors. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Payment processing is subject to the terms, security procedures, and privacy practices of the applicable payment provider. The Scholars’ Treasure does not directly store complete payment card information on its Website servers.
Private acquisitions may use payment arrangements different from those available through the standard online bookstore and may be subject to additional written transaction terms.
For certain transactions, particularly those involving high-value collectible items, The Scholars’ Treasure may request reasonable additional information or verification before completing the transaction. This may include confirmation of identity, billing or shipping information, payment authorization, or other information reasonably necessary to protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions.
The Scholars’ Treasure may decline, delay, or cancel a transaction when reasonably necessary to verify payment or identity, address suspected fraud, comply with applicable law, or protect the security of the transaction.

Shipping methods, estimated delivery times, costs, and available destinations may vary depending on the product or transaction.

Purchasers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information and for promptly notifying The Scholars’ Treasure of any delivery concerns.

Responsibility for risk of loss, insurance coverage, and delivery of high-value collectible items may be addressed in the transaction-specific terms applicable to the acquisition.
Purchasers should inspect delivered packages and items promptly and report suspected shipping damage, loss, tampering, or delivery discrepancies as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with any instructions provided for the transaction.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
13. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations for ordinary online store purchases are governed by the Return & Refund Policy presented on the Website and any applicable terms presented during checkout.
Because private collection acquisitions may involve rare, unique, previously owned, limited-edition, or high-value collectible objects, separate return, cancellation, inspection, or final-sale terms may apply to those transactions.
Any transaction-specific return, inspection, cancellation, or final-sale terms applicable to a private acquisition will be communicated before completion of that transaction.
Nothing in these Terms or any transaction-specific policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its original content—including Collection Essays, articles, written materials, photographs, graphics, videos, page designs, logos, branding, and other creative materials—are owned by or licensed to The Scholars’ Treasure and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, scrape, systematically download, or create derivative works from Website content without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder, except as permitted by law.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Scholars’ Treasure is an independent collection, educational, publishing, and retail platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Montblanc or any other third-party brand referenced on the Website.
